October 31 Yeosu Night Sea Fireworks Festival: 7 Tips on Viewing Zones and Visiting
Fireworks times, 4 official viewing zones, traffic closures, and free parking
The fireworks show is listed as an international guest team for 12 minutes from 20:00, then, after an 8-minute break, the Korean team from 20:20 to 20:35. The viewing zones are the Expo Ocean Plaza, Aqua Planet Plaza, Expo Park, and Odongdo Island. Compare each zone's location and features depending on whether you want to see the performances too and which direction you'll come in and leave.
After choosing a viewing zone, it's a good idea to also check traffic closures, bus information, and the free parking and exit conditions for each lot. Please read the festival's free admission and each parking lot's conditions separately. The venue is the Yeosu Expo site, so set your travel destination carefully so you don't confuse it with the Jinmo district in Dolsan, the main venue of the Island Expo.

Starting at 20:00: Fireworks over the Sea by Two Teams
The fireworks time slot is 35 minutes in total, and the two teams' shows add up to 27 minutes. The pre-show performance and opening ceremony start earlier, so decide your arrival time based on whether you want to enjoy the stage too or focus on the fireworks.

Ocean Plaza, Where You Can See the Performances and Opening Ceremony
The post-show performance continues from 20:35 to 21:10 after the fireworks end, so you can build your evening around the stage. If you want to experience the performers' shows and the opening atmosphere, look at this zone's location and viewing area first.

You might also consider exploring the aquarium during the day and watching the fireworks in the evening. However, indoor aquarium tickets are separate, and you can't go into the closed sections near the Sinhang Passenger Terminal and the Coast Guard pier, so check the access routes to the viewing zone on the map as well.

Decide which bus stop or parking lot you'll arrive at, then look at which direction to head to the viewing area. Choose it separately from a plan to watch the main stage performances up close, and get around based on the closed sections and open paths marked around the park.
2026 Yeosu Fireworks Festival Odongdo Viewing Zone
Odongdo Island, Home to the Sub-Stage
If you want to combine an island walk with evening viewing, plan your daytime route with plenty of time to spare. However, the official information doesn't guarantee a view of the fireworks from all of Odongdo Island or from the lighthouse observatory, so you'll need to check the actual viewing area around the sub-stage on site.
2026 Yeosu Fireworks Festival Traffic Control & Bus Guide
Traffic Closures and Buses After 20:35
The Island Expo shuttle runs from 09:00 to 21:30, but from 17:00 its stop moves from Expo Station to the public parking lot in front of the Expo main gate. If you're traveling to and from the Jinmo district in Dolsan, don't assume it's the same stop on the way back; check the stop for each time slot.
2026 Yeosu Fireworks Festival Free Parking & Exit Time Guide
Free Exit Times That Differ by Parking Lot
Public parking lots are open for free from 09:00 to 23:00, and Sky Tower is also open for free. Use the map to choose a parking lot location together with your direction home, and be careful not to mistake the free exit time for the time free entry begins. This information doesn't guarantee you'll find an open space.
For your trip home, factor in the traffic closures after 20:35 and the Island Expo shuttle stops that change from 17:00. Free exit conditions differ from lot to lot. The official poster, maps, and place photos are materials to help you understand locations and plan, and they don't guarantee the view from any particular spot.
