6 Viewing Tips for the October 31 Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Festival in Paju
Fireworks show, daytime performances, activities, Light Garden, routes, and parking
The list includes the opening ceremony and fireworks show, along with Artists on the Grass, the hands-on sharing booths, and the Light Garden. How long you stay depends on whether you arrive early to choose performances and activities or come in time for the evening fireworks. The Light Garden is a separate attraction running until December 31, so it helps to distinguish its operating period from the fireworks show on festival day.
Also check the viewing and closure routes and information on nearby public parking lots. The festival's free admission doesn't mean parking fees are free too, and the launch and closed zones are different from the walkable viewing areas. Choose the programs you want to see first, then add your travel and route home as you use these six entries.
2026 Unjeong Lake Park Fireworks Show & Opening Ceremony
Fireworks at 19:30, with the Opening Ceremony Before That
From 18:50 to 19:30, the opening ceremony and opening performance are held first at the ship-bow sculpture on Sori Stream (Soricheon). If you plan to enjoy the performance too, move your dinner and travel time earlier, and plan with the full event hours of 14:00–22:00 and the actual 20 minutes of fireworks in mind separately.
2026 Unjeong Fireworks Festival Artists on the Grass
Artists on the Grass, Running from the Daytime
Local artists' dance, crossover, classical, and dance-crew performances are also on the schedule. You can choose some daytime performances and then move on to dinner and the fireworks, and since roving performances and stage performances are in different places, check the order you want to see them in first.
2026 Unjeong Fireworks Festival Hands-On Sharing Booths
Hands-On Sharing Booths to Visit First with Kids
If you're with kids, these are worth considering as a daytime plan before the fireworks begin. The booths don't stay open until the evening fireworks show, so plan your time separately, and check with each booth about how to join on site and whether materials have run out.
2026 Unjeong Lake Park Light Garden
A Light Garden Stroll That Lasts Until the End of the Year
On November 7 and 14 from 16:00 to 17:30, the Dasi, Bit (Again, Light) Stage performances are also planned at the Light Garden's flower yard. These dates don't mean the fireworks show will be repeated, but even if you missed opening day, you can plan a visit to enjoy the garden and these separate performances.
2026 Unjeong Fireworks Festival Viewing & Traffic Control Routes
Routes That Differ from Your Usual Walking Path
Compare the access routes to the viewing zones toward Nori Gureum (Play Cloud) and Sori Stream on the attached map. The locations of the information center, lost child center, and restrooms are marked on the event layout on the same official details page, so you can look at them together when choosing a place to meet up with your group.
2026 Unjeong Fireworks Festival Nearby Public Parking Guide
Plan Your Trip Home, Not Just Where to Park
The official list includes the Starfield Village public parking lot, Unjeong Happiness Center, and the Yadang Station transfer parking lot, among others. Compare locations in the attached table and check fees and operating conditions on Paju Parking. The list doesn't reserve a parking space or confirm this year's wait times.
The Light Garden runs through the end of the year, and separate stage performances are also held in November. These are different from any additional fireworks dates. Before your visit, check the foundation's latest map and schedule again, and distinguish between the launch and closed zones and the viewing areas marked on the images.
