The coastline of Ulleungdo displays completely different colors depending on the direction and time of day, even on the same day. In the eastern Naesujeon, you can wait for the morning light above the horizon, while in the western Namseori, you can see the setting sun behind the cliffs. Unique rock formations like Samsun Rock (삼선암) and Gongam (공암) are great for capturing shapes with a telephoto lens, while Hakpo Beach (학포 해안) and Daepunggam offer a more spacious view of the sea and geological layers.
