Justin Bieber Before Baby: 7 Songs from His Debut Era
From One Time to Love Me, a trip back to 2009's My World
If you got to know Justin Bieber through Baby, give the earlier My World a listen too. It's a record that captures his early 2009 voice and pop melodies, and beyond One Time and One Less Lonely Girl, you'll discover songs with a different kind of charm.
We've arranged them in the order they appear on the 7-track EP edition of My World. Starting with the familiar early singles and moving through First Dance with Usher to the bright closer Love Me, it's a great way to listen through one era in a short sitting.

One Time — Justin Bieber
One Time, Where You First Meet His Voice
One Time is the first track on the 7-track My World EP. If you're curious about Justin Bieber before Baby, this is the song to pick first, perfect for following his bright pop melodies and early voice together.
The official music video is linked as well, so you can see what he looked like back then alongside the audio. Alternating it with later songs from the Boyfriend or Purpose eras makes it fun to compare the impression of his vocals and rhythm.

Favorite Girl — Justin Bieber
For Lingering on the Chorus Melody
Favorite Girl is the second track on the 2009 7-track My World EP. Placed right after One Time, it lets you continue with the voice of his early singles through another melody from the same period.
If you want to choose early songs with a focus on vocals, it pairs well with Down to Earth. This entry is the original recording on the My World EP, not a live or acoustic re-recording.

Listening for the Vocals Between Bright Singles
Down to Earth is the third track on the 7-track My World EP. Alongside the upbeat One Time and Love Me, it suits listeners who want to hear more of his early voice through melody.
This song is an option for appreciating his vocals side by side with Favorite Girl. Pick it on a day when you'd rather stay with the 2009 record than jump quickly between hits from different eras.

Bigger — Justin Bieber
Shifting Back Toward the Rhythm
Bigger is the fourth track on the 7-track My World EP. After Favorite Girl and Down to Earth, it's a nice way to change the mood with early pop you can follow along to the rhythm.
It suits those who enjoy songs that move with the beat, not just the melody. It's a track from the 2009 debut EP, distinct from the songs on My World 2.0.
