8 Essential Songs for Bruno Mars Beginners
A playlist that connects early pop ballads to funk and the latest collaborations all in one go
If you're listening to Bruno Mars for the first time, it's better to focus on how his voice and songwriting have evolved rather than just following the popularity rankings. By listening to his piano pop from his debut, rock pop with band sounds, danceable funk, and duets with other artists in order, you can quickly grasp the many facets of one artist.
This list features eight songs from solo albums and notable collaborations, chosen intentionally not to lean towards any specific album. Start by listening in the order of release, and then explore further based on your preferred vibe by categorizing songs into ballads, funk, and collaborations. You can naturally compare how the same voice changes across different genres since the musical direction varies for each song upon their release.
