Photos of Zhangjiajie are not complete by just waiting for a clear blue sky on sunny days. The depth of the quartz sandstone peaks becomes clearer when low clouds drift between the peaks after the rain or when morning light reveals the texture of the rocky walls. Yuanzhajie's Mihong Platform and Gongun Pillar are good for capturing closer peaks, while Yangjiajie's Tianpafu is suitable for photographing the layers of cliffs, and Tianzi Mountain's Yubifeng and Halong Park are perfect for wide-angle views.

Instead of just saving the viewpoint names, it’s also important to note which shuttle stop you are approaching in each region. Weather can change rapidly in the mountains, so allow time for clouds to clear at each point but be careful not to miss the last vehicle.
