Youth Culture and Arts Pass: Where to Enjoy Performances, Movies, and Books?

If you are looking for a work to see on a set date and seat, like a musical or a play, you can start from the Performances and Exhibitions menu on NOL Ticket. It is a partner booking site included in the official Youth Culture and Arts Pass notice, and you check the eligibility label in the product details and then apply points at the payment step. Don't assume NOL's lodging and travel products are eligible for the pass; even within Performances and Exhibitions, pick a work that it applies to first.

When choosing seats, read whether the date you want falls within the validity period and whether you pick up the ticket on site after identity verification. The identity verification information on the account you use for booking must also match the person who was issued the pass. Even if you go with a friend, the pass can pay for only one ticket of your own, so it is right to prepare your companion's ticket separately. Rather than planning to secure different performances in the same time slot, take travel time into account and choose one showing. Finish the booking after checking each work's cancellation deadline and fee.

The name YES24 easily brings both books and performances to mind, but to choose performance and exhibition tickets you need to go in through YES24 Ticket. It is a service that the official Youth Culture and Arts Pass notice links to as a performance booking site, and its products and delivery methods differ from book orders. Once you've chosen a performance title, check on the detail page whether the pass applies and the viewing date, then pick a seat for the showing you want. Appearing in a discount event or recommendation list is not enough to assume it is eligible for the pass.

Before booking, it helps to look at the venue's location and start time together. The validity period of the points applies to the actual viewing date, not the day you paid, so you cannot use them at year's end to pre-buy next year's performances. It also assumes that the person issued the pass attends in person, so bring the account verification and the ID guidance needed for on-site pick-up. If you also plan to buy books at YES24 Books, read the conditions of the two fields separately, and check the cancellation policy for ticket booking on that performance's detail page.

If you usually book sports games on Ticketlink, it is convenient that you can find performances on the same site. However, when using the Youth Culture and Arts Pass, the supported field and the product label come before the site name. You must pick an eligible work from the Performances and Exhibitions menu, and the fact that sports tickets such as baseball are sold alongside does not mean you can buy those with the pass. If the performance you want is on several sellers, start by comparing the dates and seats you can actually choose.

The points are not an extra subsidy exclusive to Ticketlink but a means of payment within the total balance you were issued. If you have already spent some at another partner booking site, check the remaining amount and look at how to pay for the shortfall. Only one ticket of your own can be applied per booking, so it is a good idea to read the payment conditions before putting several people's tickets in the cart together. Booking deadlines, cancellation fees, and pick-up methods for each work are separate, so check them along with the label showing that the pass can be used.

If you want to meet the music you usually listen to at a venue, the Youth Culture and Arts Pass notice on Melon Ticket is worth a look. The venue here is Melon Ticket, which books performance tickets, and it does not mean music streaming passes on Melon are supported. Even if music concerts and festivals are in the permitted field, you need to check the eligibility label of the actual product. Products with similar names, such as fan meetings or talk events, that do not match the program's scope of support should be told apart.

If you like a performance schedule, first read the identity verification for the booker and how to pick up the ticket. The Melon Ticket notice says that on-site booking on the day of the performance using the pass is not possible, so you must pay before online booking closes. Conditions for using discount coupons or other booking vouchers together may differ, so it is better to check whether they apply on the payment screen. Think of it as the window to use once the date and place of the performance you want to see have been decided, and take care not to confuse it with your music service account or subscription benefits.

If you want to see a movie at a nearby theater, first decide the date and showtime in CGV's online booking. CGV is a movie partner booking site for the Youth Culture and Arts Pass, but not all content and products sold at the cinema are supported. The official standard is works assigned a Korean Film Council film code, and special content such as sports broadcasts and live performance screenings is excluded. The starting point is to check not only the movie title but also whether the screening product you actually want to book is eligible.

The number of movie viewings is not a benefit given only at CGV. It is 2 per year for the Seoul metropolitan area and 4 per year for non-metropolitan areas, based on the issuing region, and is added together with usage at the other two cinemas, so check your remaining count first. Book through the designated online window, and even if you go with a friend, you must pay for your own single ticket with the pass. Seat type and whether extra discounts apply can be checked on the screening you choose and the payment screen. It is best not to plan on covering popcorn and drink purchases with the same points.

If there is a Lotte Cinema near your home or school, it is good to choose based on the branch that is easy to get to and the showtime you want. It is included among the official movie venues for the Youth Culture and Arts Pass, and you check eligibility when booking online with your own account. It is not a system where you go to an on-site box office and show a pass number or use it like a physical support card, so the right plan is to finish payment online before you leave.

On the booking screen, don't just look at the movie title and branch; check the date, start time, and seats again. Only one ticket of your own can be paid with points in one booking, and the number of movie viewings you used earlier at CGV or Megabox is also reflected in your remaining limit. At year's end, remember that even if you pay in December, a showing whose actual viewing falls in the next year cannot be eligible. For how a cancellation and rebooking is handled and for coupon stacking conditions, check Lotte Cinema's payment notice.

Megabox is another partner booking site where you can compare the branches and showtimes of the movie you want. The official event notice also introduces use of the Youth Culture and Arts Pass. However, the cinema's general partner discounts or ticket events may have different conditions from pass support. Rather than judging by a special-format theater name or event phrasing, check whether the movie you picked is eligible and whether points are applied at the payment step.

Even if you look for seats next to a friend, the subsidy can be used only for your own viewing. Instead of trying to process your companion's ticket with the pass at the same time, look at booking methods separately. The limit on the number of movie viewings is not renewed at each Megabox branch and includes usage at CGV and Lotte Cinema. Because you book a screening with a set date, the viewing deadline and cancellation time matter too. Don't automatically combine partner events or benefits that have already ended with the pass; choose based on the current screening and payment notice.

If it is hard to match a performance schedule or there is a book you want to read, look for the eligible label at YES24 Books. The official notice explains that you can check whether purchase is possible by the Youth Pass icon near the book title. You can't buy every book or stationery and merchandise item YES24 sells, and there are excluded fields such as e-books and study guides, so rather than paying right away because you like the cover, it is more accurate to check the eligibility label first.

An order that uses pass points can include only one book at a time and cannot be combined with other products. Based on the September change notice, the book field can be used within 50,000 won for the Seoul metropolitan area and 70,000 won for non-metropolitan areas depending on the issuing region, and is added together with spending at Bookstore ON. Even if you can pay the order's shipping fee with points, that amount counts toward the book limit, so look at the final payment amount. Additional services such as return shipping fees or gift wrapping have separate restrictions, so read the order notice. Check the book price and shipping terms, then pay with your remaining points.

If you want to get books connected to a neighborhood bookstore, you can look at Bookstore ON. It is an official book partner seller for the Youth Culture and Arts Pass, and the site has a Youth Pass recommended books menu and a function to find local bookstores. The flow is to pick the book you want online, order it, and then use delivery or pick-up at a participating local bookstore depending on the seller's operation. Don't understand it as meaning you can pay on site at any bookstore nearby.

First check whether the book has the Youth Pass eligibility label, and look at the pick-up bookstore and its ready-for-pickup notice. Don't assume that Bookstore ON's regular reservation service and the payment conditions for policy subsidies are the same; it is better to check pass application at the actual order step. Books are limited to one per order, and the points limit is applied together with YES24 Books. Even if you choose in-store pick-up, you should distinguish online payment from the process of actually picking up the book, so read the bookstore's hours and pick-up deadline. Stock may be confirmed after ordering, so it is better to visit after you receive the ready-for-pickup notification.
