From Brunch to Pasta and Pizza: 7 Western Restaurants in Yeonhui-dong
Choose your meal by bread, noodles, risotto and dishes to share
On days when you want bread or pasta in Yeonhui-dong, decide on your mealtime first. A brunch spot that opens in the morning and a restaurant with separate lunch and dinner service fit into your day in different ways. Picture the meal you want, whether it's starting with French toast, sharing pasta and risotto at lunch, or a dinner with pizza or steak, and choosing becomes easier.
Here are seven places: Growers, Jenny's Cafe, Enoteca Oto, Jageun Spain, Paolo de Maria, Maudi and Dough Club Yeonhui flagship. Rather than limiting it to Italian menus, the list includes Spanish food, pizza and dough sandwiches, so you can compare different dining tastes within Yeonhui-dong. Jenny's Cafe has "cafe" in its name, but you can have a full meal of pasta, gnocchi, risotto and set menus there.
We've put together each restaurant's actual menu, location and opening information. If your group wants different things among bread, noodles and meat dishes, combine mains and sides as you choose where to go.
Growers
At Growers you can choose a bread-centered meal or pasta and risotto. The Growers breakfast, grilled bacon French toast, shakshuka and sourdough toast are the main bread-based options. Pork jowl oil pasta or mushroom cream truffle mafaldine are alternatives for anyone who wants noodles. Start by deciding between sweet toast and a more savory, filling dish.
Pancakes, a spicy cheese hot sandwich and mushroom cream risotto are also available. It's on floors 1–2 at 52 Yeonhui-ro 27-gil. Hours are listed as 10:00–20:00 with last orders at 19:00, so it works for an earlier meal than other Western restaurants. Don't assume every dish is served at the same time just because it's a brunch place; check when the dish you want can be ordered.
Jenny's Cafe
At Jenny's Cafe you can make a meal of pasta, gnocchi or risotto. There's eggplant and mushroom fettuccine, chili whole-shrimp fettuccine and mushroom and fresh cheese gnocchi, plus basil pesto spaghetti and squid ink abalone risotto. You choose the sauce and ingredients for your noodles, or go for risotto as a rice dish. If your table orders two or more dishes, you can also put together a combination where sauces and ingredients don't overlap.
Soup of the day, tomato and basil pesto bruschetta and ragu bruschetta are also available, so you can choose something before your main. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor at 17-49 Yeonhuimat-ro. There's a pasta set for 2 and a pasta and steak set, so you can compare ordering à la carte with a set. If you're choosing different pastas or risottos, plan your meal so the sauces don't overlap.
Enoteca Otto
Enoteca Oto
Enoteca Oto is an Italian restaurant where you can put together fresh pasta, lasagna, starters and meat dishes. You can compare dishes of different shapes, such as truffle tajarin, eoran (dried roe) pasta, agnolotti and Bolognese lasagna. It's also a good choice on days when you want pasta shapes and dishes beyond the usual. If you're sharing, choose your mains first, then decide whether to add starters.
There are arancini, fried olives, beef carpaccio and Caesar salad, plus striploin steak, so you can think about the order of starters and mains. It's at 17-18 Yeonhuimat-ro. Published hours show a break from 15:00 to 17:30 and closures on Mondays and Tuesdays. Rather than a late lunch in the middle of a walk, plan when to start your meal around the lunch order cutoff at 14:10 and the dinner order cutoff at 20:10.
Jageun Spain
Jageun Spain on Yeonhui-ro 25-gil is an option when you want Spanish food on the table. Gambas al ajillo, jamón salad and homemade ricotta cheese salad are on its published menu. You can start by pairing the shrimp dish with a salad, or by choosing between jamón and cheese. If you're dining as a group, think about both shared dishes and individual portions.
It's on the 1st floor at 37 Yeonhui-ro 25-gil, and the restaurant's listing links to a CatchTable reservation page. Check the mains and per-group options on the reservation screen, then combine them with the dishes above. The published break runs long, from 14:30 to 18:00, and last orders are listed at 20:00, so don't count on it if you're looking for somewhere to eat right away in the afternoon. For dinner plans, set your time with both the post-18:00 entry and the 20:00 order cutoff in mind.
Paolo de Maria
Paolo de Maria offers pasta in different shapes, including tagliatelle, rigatoni and cavatelli. Choices include cuttlefish tagliatelle with burrata cheese, salsiccia ragù rigatoni and Bologna-style Bolognese tagliatelle. There's also lemon cream shrimp pasta and lobster bisque pasta, so you can split your options into meat and seafood. Look at the pasta shape as well as the sauce when deciding what to order.
Cuttlefish and squid ink risotto and black truffle and Parmigiano cheese risotto are also available. It's at 24 Yeonhui-ro 26-gil. Order a pasta and a risotto to share, or start with soup to build your meal. Published information shows closures on Tuesdays and a break from 15:00 to 17:30. For dinner, plan to arrive after 17:30, when the break ends.
Maudi
Maudi serves myeongnan (pollock roe) pasta in two sauces: oil and cream. Deciding first between myeongnan oil and myeongnan cream makes choosing your pasta simple. Truffle cream mushroom risotto and striploin steak are also on the menu, so you can build a meal beyond noodles. Think about portions differently depending on whether you'll have a single plate of pasta or center the meal on steak with dishes on the side.
There's also Maudi's Table for 2 and steak sets for 2 or 3, so groups can compare à la carte dishes with sets. You can add a ricotta salad, so check whether anything overlaps with the set. The restaurant is on the 1st floor at 18 Yeonhui-ro 11-gil, and its address differs from the similarly named Maudi Brunch Bar. When searching for directions or booking, check both the name and the address to make sure you choose the right place.
Dough Club Yeonhui Main Branch
Dough Club Yeonhui Flagship
At Dough Club Yeonhui flagship you can share a pizza or each pick a dough sandwich. The menu includes apricot jambon pizza, supreme pizza, apricot jambon dough sandwich and fig bacon dough sandwich. The same ingredients come as either pizza or dough sandwich, so choose the format first. With pizza, you decide how much your group will share; with dough sandwiches, each person picks their own.
Fried baby potatoes and fried sweet potatoes are available to go with your main. The restaurant is at Unit 101 on basement level 1, 5 Yeonhuimat-ro. Hours are 11:30–21:30 with a break from 15:00 to 17:00. The kitchen closes at 21:00 on weekdays and 20:30 on weekends, earlier than closing time. If you're arriving late, plan around the order cutoff. If you're planning a walk after your meal, arrive well before ordering closes.
For a bread-centered meal, look at breakfast plates, French toast and dough sandwiches first; if you'd like to compare sauces and ingredients, start with the pasta or risotto menus. If two or more people are eating, consider whether to add a salad or soup, or to share different mains. For dishes ordered in different units, such as steak sets or pizza, compare options based on the size of your group.
Even at places with brunch menus, don't assume every dish is served during the same hours. Once you've chosen a dish, check when it's served and whether reservations are available, and for restaurants with an afternoon break, adjust the order of your moves between lunch and dinner. Some kitchens close earlier than the restaurant itself, so leave plenty of time for your meal and then link it with a stroll through Yeonhui-dong.
