Namwon's folklore and living culture extends beyond just Chunhyangjeon. Heungbu Village in Ayong-myeon connects the transmission of the Heungbujeon story with the village's space, and the Heungbu Festival reinterprets the folktale into a citizen festival and the values of sharing. The wooden crafts of Namwon, made with Jirisan wood and lacquer, are a representative craft where artisans' skills are turned into everyday utensils and ritual items. The wooden craft factory showroom and urban craft shops showcase two different aspects of production and sales.

The Namwon Traditional Folk Music Training Center is a space dedicated to practicing and passing down the rhythms and movements of the community.
