From Classic Cars to Future Mobility: Car Design Exhibition Spaces
From a museum showing body proportions by era to experience spaces that read today's brand design: meet cars through real vehicles and exhibition content
This list bundles 6 spaces in Korea with different purposes for viewing. It does not mean concept cars are always on display at any of them, and whether a specific vehicle or special exhibition is shown depends on the day you visit. Check separately the areas you can look around for free, the museums that need an admission ticket, and experiences and test drives booked separately. It was chosen based on public notices as of October 15, 2026, and it is not a list of filming locations that appeared on TV, but separate candidates to visit when you've become interested in car design.
Samsung Fire & Marine Mobility Museum
Samsung Fire Mobility Museum (삼성화재 모빌리티뮤지엄)
If you go with family, it is better to plan time for viewing the vehicles and time for activities separately. Don't assume that buying an admission ticket includes use of all attractions; check the age, height, and operating status of the experience you pick. The viewing hours in the current booking notice are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends and public holidays, with admission closing one hour before in each case. It is closed every Monday, but opens as normal if it is a public holiday, and is also closed on January 1 and during the Seollal and Chuseok holidays. Tickets for the day of your visit can only be bought and issued on site, so prepare separately from online advance booking.
World Automobile & Piano Museum
World Automobile & Piano Museum (세계자동차&피아노박물관)
A feature of this place is that the visit doesn't end up being only about cars. Seeing the piano exhibition together lets you compare how materials, decoration, and the tastes of an era show in different objects. Children's traffic experiences and outdoor spaces may have different operating conditions from indoor viewing, so check the weather and availability separately. The address is 1610 Jungsangan-seoro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si. If you visit late in the day, check the admission hours first. Before you leave, it is good to call the museum (064-792-3000) and ask about that day's operating hours, ticket office closing time, and admission fee to plan your schedule.
Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang
Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang (현대 모터스튜디오 고양)
The adult individual fee for the permanent hands-on exhibition in the official usage guide is 10,000 won, 4D Ride is a separate 7,000 won, and the combined ticket is 16,000 won. Take care not to confuse looking around the vehicle exhibition with this paid experience ticket. The permanent exhibition and 4D Ride require advance reservation, and the hands-on exhibition is noted as closed on Mondays. Even though the building's exhibition hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., the experiences are not necessarily available until the same time, so it is right to move according to the reservation session you chose. A test drive is a separate reservation program from exhibition viewing, and the free parking time also varies depending on your usage record.
Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul
Hyundai Motorstudio Seoul (현대 모터스튜디오 서울)
The exhibition fee is announced as free and the operating hours as 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and you should check the first Monday of every month and separate holiday closures. However, free general exhibition admission does not mean the member lounge and all programs can be used without restriction. Group visits and test drives need advance reservation, and it is more accurate to check the conditions of individual experiences separately. In the exhibition rooms, compare the lines of the body and the layout of interior screens and buttons, and pick books and cultural programs from what is open on that day. Plan the cafe hours and parking fees separately from the exhibition operation.
Kia360
The address is 417 Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu, and the official operating hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is announced as closed on the third Monday of every month and on New Year's Day, Seollal, and Chuseok and the day after. When sitting in an exhibited vehicle, follow the on-site instructions, and a guardian must accompany children under 8 if they sit in the driver's seat. Visitor parking is affected by whether the lot is full, so it is better not to assume a space is guaranteed just because of the free time. Ask the operations office about the scope of docent explanations and group visits, and visit with the purposes of car purchase consultation and exhibition viewing kept separate.
BMW Driving Center
If your purpose is viewing the exhibition, you don't need to assume you must also book a driving program. Conversely, entering the building does not mean you can freely use track driving or the Junior Campus. Check the cost, eligibility, and bookable times for driving, riding, and children's programs separately. The vehicles actually on display and content related to concept cars can change, so it is right to check the current notice. The location is 136 Gonghang-dong-ro, Yeongjongdo; read the official operating hours and directions menu together with the schedule of the program you want, and plan your trip.
Don't assume a car in a photo or a past special exhibition is still on display; check the current exhibition notice. A whole building's operating hours and the closing time of each experience can differ, and exhibition admission does not include test drives or attraction use. Check separately members-only spaces, age conditions for children's programs, and parking benefits. Use this not as a course to tour six far-apart places at once, but as a list to choose from according to your travel region and taste.
